Placement of a Tenant: 8% plus VAT for the duration of the lease upfront

  • Advertising, marketing and exposing the premises to potential tenants
  • Arranging for potential tenants to view the premises
  • Negotiating the subsequent lease agreement with potential tenants
  • Performing all vetting, including but not limited to credit, employment and other references checks on potential tenants
  • Informing the tenant of all rights and duties in terms of the lease agreement
  • Initiating and performing the incoming snag list and initial inspection
  • Informing the tenant that the landlord will be the contact person once the lease agreement is signed
  • Ensuring that the specific requirements in respect of a potential tenant have been met and that if a tenant does not meet those specific requirements, then such tenant does not take occupation of the premises
  • Ensuring that the tenant can afford the required rental
